Immanuel College Old Scholars Soccer Club
History

The history of the Immanuel College Old Scholars Soccer Club was born out of a game held between close friends and associates in the latter par of 2004 in the Adelaide City Parklands. Two teams called ‘The Jury’ and the ‘The Guild’ battled for 90 minutes in a match that will long be remembered for its competitiveness, good sportsmanship and humour. The result saw ‘The Jury’ triumphant but more importantly generated the idea of a combined side that would ultimately compete as Old Scholars of Immanuel College. This combined team held the qualities of fairness, respect, encouragement and enjoyment close to their hearts and ingrained them into the club culture.

The Immanuel College Old Scholars Soccer Club (ICOSSC) joined the South Australian Collegiate Soccer League in 2005 and the rest is history. The club has since grown from one team in 2005, to two teams in 2007 and currently the club has 3 teams in 2011 with the potential to expand further with the possibility of a fourth team in 2012.

The club's expansion has seen us undergo many changes inlucluding the change of home ground for our all three of our teams who now play at Barratt Reserve, West Beach.
